Andover:
- Andover Community Fund: Provides interim financial assistance to Andover residents who have encountered an unforeseen setback in their lives, with a mission of self-help. The fund grants support for elder care, youth education, and healthcare programs in the community and offers a scholarship committee for students.
Ludlow:
- Black River Good Neighbor Services: Help with food, housing, rent, clothing, finances, heating, and utilities, etc. Also serves Cavendish & Plymouth.
- Ludlow Community Center: Offering shelter, food & supplies.
- Annunciation Parish: Opened parish hall & parking lot to people who needed a hot meal & place to stay the night and higher ground during flooding.
- Local restaurants offering food: Calcuttas, Goodmans American Pie, Gamebird, The Eatery
Plymouth:
- The HUB Emergency Assistance: Helping people who are out of work due to the flood or have flood-related bills they can’t pay; or insurance or FEMA relief are not enough; or a new issue has arisen. The HUB’s trained case advocates are ready to meet with residents of Plymouth and other towns to discuss specific needs and find solutions. This is a one-stop portal to emergency assistance, from funds to help with short-term expenses to connections with government resources and other organizations for long-term support. To reach The HUB: fill out an application online, email them, call 802-457-7214 or pick up an application at the Ottauquechee Health Foundation, 30 Pleasant Street, Woodstock. The HUB is a Project of Woodstock Community Trust, a 501c3 non-profit organization
- Plymouth Memory Tree Community Fund: Grant program for individuals & families in need who reside full-time in Plymouth for both homeowners & renters to cover rent, utilities, appliances, short-term housing, loss of income, health related costs, repair & replacement of housing, transportation, heating fuel, or garbage disposal.
- President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site Museum & Education Center is located at higher elevation than the 100A highway. Citizens in the immediate area are welcome to take shelter. Power, Restrooms, & wifi available.
Weston:
- Just Neighbors: Provides basic life necessities & financial support for those experiencing a crisis. Also services Andover, Chester, & Londonderry.
Londonderry:
- Volunteer Sign up Form
- Neighborhood Connections: For individual needs and assistance in Londonderry. Also offering transportation with their van for medical appointments. Service area also include Andover, Chester, & Weston. Also have a Flood Resources Page.
- Rescue Inc: Technical team is in Londonderry helping the Fire Departments checking houses in the flooded areas to make sure people are safe and unharmed. They are also helping with drones to check on road outages. If you need help please call Rich Phelan at our EOC at 802-289-7859.
- Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation: providing Technical Assistance and/or low-interest Emergency Working Capital Loan to businesses in Windham County. Also serves Grafton.
Cavendish/Proctorsville:
- Cavendish Baptist Church serving some meals and operating a store for supplies. Also has Deacon’s Fund for immediate needs and Cavendish Flood Relief Funds (CFRF) coming soon.
- Proctorsville Calvary Church sponsored Convoy of Hope Disaster Relief.
Chester:
- Chester-Andover Family Center: Food shelf & financial assistance.
- One Credit Union: Collecting donations of water, toiletries, or cash for their Flood Relief Donation Drive.
- Local restaurants & organizations offering food: Chester Helping Hands, Southern Pie Café, and the Pizza Stone
