The Team at William Raveis Vermont Properties (WRVP) of Ludlow was selected as the September 2022 MEMBER OF THE MONTH because of their generous financial sponsorship and volunteer support for the Best of Vermont Summer Festival! WRVP has been the presenting sponsor of this event for two years in a row. Sarah Sheehan, a Chamber Board member, served as the new volunteer coordinator this year and encouraged  her colleagues (Joe Karl & Kevin Barnes!) and family (her husband Nick!) to help.

Kathy Burns, the owner/broker of the agency, began her real estate career in 1988. She has also been actively involved in the community and supports numerous non-profit organizations ever since.

William Raveis VT Properties provides Real Estate in the Okemo Valley for both buyers and sellers as well as rental services. Their primarily service area includes the Okemo Valley towns of  Ludlow, Plymouth, Mount Holly, Chester, Cavendish and Andover in Windsor & Rutland counties.

WRVP has a total of 12 staff, made up of a combination of “The Sales Team”, sales assistance, administration and the marketing team. They are affiliated with 4000 agents in the Raveis Family. The Ludlow office is open 7 days a week and they are located just across from the Fox Run Golf Club.

The best feature of their business is that their real estate office is unique and unlike any other. Their Realtors work as a true team! They combine their knowledge and skills to work together on every single transaction. When you reach out to their office, any member of their  team can assist you. They offer a real team approach where there is no competition – just a team of agents on your side always. They pride themselves in the number of referrals from family, friends, clients and past clients – it proves that hard work creates satisfied clients and customers.

The surprising thing about this business is that they are family owned and operated as well as an affiliate of William Raveis Real Estate. This affiliation allows us access to state-of-the-art real estate marketing tools. Remaining family owned and operated establishes their roots in the community. They deeply care about their communities and its people. Whether it’s supporting the local schools or helping out behind the scenes for fundraisers, their team is always on the lookout for their community.

The biggest challenge for WRVP has been keeping up with the real estate demand in the Okemo Valley. It’s key to have a team that can adapt to those challenges, they always work together to overcome any issues that arise in this fast changing market. Like many, they were challenged to keep their team safe and healthy in 2020 while remaining available throughout this time to service their owners, clients and customers.

Focusing on the future is very important to their business, it’s why they are a local leader in sales volume. They will continue to improve and cultivate their marketing tools and offerings as new technologies become available. Their team is constantly aiming to offer an unmatched real estate experience with their marketing plans, service, attention to detail, and knowledge. They have a few other future plans up their sleeves that you’ll have to wait and see!

William Raveis Vermont Properties has been a valued Okemo Valley chamber member since 1985.
