Springfield Community Players presents the premiere of Zip Zap Zombies: Actors and the Apocalypse, an original dark comedy with “bite” from local playwright and director Josie Munroe. When news of a zombie apocalypse interrupts an adult acting class, the students and their teacher barricade themselves inside the theater. As the crisis escalates outside, old rivalries, fragile egos, and inconvenient truths take center stage. While supplies last, theatergoers can add a “Survival Snack Pack” intermission special to their ticket purchase, featuring show-themed emergency rations, survival supplies, and a blood-bag mocktail.
