OVRCC Members that are participating in the statewide VT Maple 100 celebration until Sunday October 15 include Smokeshire Design from Chester, Stewart Maple in Cuttingsville, and Sugarbush Farm in Woodstock.

Celebrate maple in the Green Mountain State as autumn turns the maple-packed forests brilliant red, orange, and yellow. Maple 100 offers the chance to participate in maple-centered events and shop deals, as well as discover new ways to enjoy Vermont’s sweetest export. Savor unique maple specialty products, rank your favorite maple creemees, tour a sugarhouse with a local sugar maker at the height of fall foliage, or indulge in a maple-based meal, brew, or cocktail. Tap into what makes maple great by planning your fall maple adventure.

Win some sweet prizes! The Maple Meander is Vermont Maple Sugar Makers Association’s year-round passport program that encourages you to visit maple producers, partners, and celebrations throughout the year. Pick up a Maple Meander Passport at most participating Maple 100 locations and track your path through the state. Fill in six spots and send a photo to Kristen.Brassard@Vermont.gov by Oct. 20 for the chance to win a Maple 100 prize. When Maple 100 is over, continue to use your passport when you visit participating Maple Meander businesses. Once you visit 12 or more locations, you can turn it in for some sweet Vermont maple rewards.
