Instructor Biography: Susannah was born in the small town of Berlin, Vermont. She spent much of her childhood traveling all over the United States by automobile. Susannah had an extraordinary exposure to different landscapes and scenery throughout the country and had visited almost all 50 states before she was 14. She was quiet observer and spent much of her time carefully taking in all of her surroundings in her sketchbook. She developed a strong relationship with the outdoors spending much of her time hiking trails, mountains, tracking animals, catching amphibians and working in the garden. Her curiosity for her surroundings and childhood experiences interacting with nature shaped the person she is today. Susannah’s passion and love for the outdoors is still quite evident in her work. “Each painting is a record of an adventure I have taken, a challenge I have overcome, a place forever in my heart.” A supply list will be sent with confirmation of class registration.
