Cemetery Tours at Laurel Glen/Bowman Mansion
On Fri, Sep 18, Laurel Glen Cemetery Association of 1894 will hold candlelight cemetery and mausoleum tours to commemorate the death of Mr. John P. Bowman. Everyone knows the beautiful mausoleum on Route 103 in Cuttingsville. Now’s your chance to see inside the vault – by candlelight!
Tours begin at 5:00 and run every half-hour, with the last leaving from in front of the Shrewsbury Historical Society museum at 6:30.
You must reserve your slot; each group will be limited to 12. If you don’t reserve, you may not be admitted. This is a fundraiser for our not-for-profit organization; we ask a tax-deductible donation of $20 per adult and $10 per child (Families $40). Tours last about an hour; they are not scary, just fun and educational. Wear comfortable shoes, and dress for weather. Bring a flashlight. Not dog friendly.
