Botanical Printmaking on Fabric with Sandi Cirillo

Registration Deadline: August 1, 2021 Class Description: This class covers all that you need to know to get started with printmaking on fabric and paper at home. We’ll learn about mordanting paper and fabric and move on to extracting color from various plant materials. How you use those colors to create designs will emphasize the depth of your own creativity. Pounding out the color from various plants will excite and surprise you. NOTE: Tuition includes a $25 one-time registration fee. If you have already paid the fee, it will be deducted from your total before your card is charged. Instructor’s Biography: Sandi is a retired art educator who gives many different fiber workshops in the Northeast and North Carolina. She has been a fiber/mixed media artist for over 30 years. The inspiration for her work focuses on the textural qualities of man-made and natural fibers which she incorporates into her artwork. Sandi lives in Searsport, Maine, where she has her studio.
