Vermont Route 100 winds along the West River as it rises north through the small villages in the Green Mountains that make up the town of Londonderry, Vermont. Londonderry is a town that exists in the unfolding landscape that makes up the community that is conveniently located between Stratton, Bromley and Okemo. Magic Mountain smiles over Londonderry with its steep terrain and the quaint esthetics that accompany this small family based ski area and the new Timberquest adventure park. Canoeing and kayaking at Lowell Lake State Park will impress even the avid boater, while biking and riding along the incredible West River Trail is always a pleasurable experience that leads to the Winhall State Campground. Municipal government chartered in 1770, and then again in 1780, with a population of approximately 1800 residents.
