Kinhaven Music School was founded in 1952. It’s purpose is to inspire and develop people through the appreciation and practice of high-level participatory music, including chamber, orchestral, piano, and choral. Its vision is to be a sustainable musical community open to a wide range of musicians. Kinhaven offers joyous and rigorous music-making education to accomplished youth and adults in a nurturing, noncompetitive, and collaborative environment. Kinhaven’s culture reflects its strong belief in the benefits of shared learning, mutual support, friendship, community, and diversity.
