The most recognized is Belmont which is located west of Rt. 103N.

This small village is located along the shore of Star Lake and recently garnered international attention as the Home of Hannah Teter, Olympic Gold Medalist.  The village is anchored by the general store, a beautifully-restored community center & library, and not one but two museums. Mount Holly prides itself on several special events:  the Fourth of July Celebration; Artfest, held the 1st weekend in August on the Village Green; Cider Days over Columbus Weekend; and monthly dinners at Odd Fellows Hall in Belmont from April through October.

Town office: 802-259-2391 . Population: 1105 . Sq. miles: 49.6
