The Innkeepers, Jim and Cathy Kubec, welcome you to a haven for enjoying life's pleasures and a base for exploring the Okemo Valley and all of Vermont.

The Governor's Inn is a late 19th century Victorian house located on the Ludlow village green less than one mile from Okemo Mountain.

Imagine a day in Vermont... perhaps exploring a country road; hiking the Green Mountains; stopping to enjoy our chef-prepared country picnic; golfing with a mountain view; discovering an antique that's just right; sharing your experiences with fellow guests, or visiting with Jim as he keeps the inn in late afternoon.

Imagine... bubbling is the whirlpool under the skylight; snuggling under a comforter in an extraordinary hand carved antique bed. Morning and sunshine in the breakfast room -- delicious aromas wafting from the inn kitchen -- hot apple crisp or pumpkin raisin muffins; perhaps gingerbread pancakes with Vermont maple syrup, or Vermont cheese and eggs in a puff pastry.

 The Governor's Inn is a stylist, romantic Victorian country house with eight guest rooms, each with its own antiques. All guest rooms have private baths.  Common Rooms include a spacious foyer with fireplace and a whispering alcove, a living room with an ornate slate fireplace, dining and breakfast rooms, a den with wine and beer available, and a second floor TV room with guest computer. Of course, there's a porch for stomping off snow in winter and for rocking in summer.
