Chaffee Art Center Summer Camp: All About That Paint Let’s get wild with Paint! Camper’s will explore various techniques, types, and styles of paint – from tempura to watercolors, pointillism to abstract, Monet to Pollock.  Camper’s will learn the color wheel and how to mix their own colors.  Experimentation and exploration will be encouraged as camper’s use their fingers, branches, sand, and other found objects to paint with and incorporate in their paint.

Origami With Gail Martin at the Fletcher Memorial Youth Library

Again this year the Cavendish summer music series will be presented on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 on the Proctorsville Green. The lineup begins July 1st with the wide-ranging band Gypsy Reel July 8th by the always-popular Chris Kleeman July 15th the multi-talented Sensible Shoes will play July 22nd we’ll hear from Rutland’s great Voodoo Alien Blues Band July 29th a newcomer to Cavendish, the Green Brothers Band will appear August 5th another newcomer, the “hair tossin’, cello wielding sultry songstress”…
